About The Event

Drones are one the fastest-growing, emerging areas of technology. Their ability to view, detect, and analyze from heights and locations where humans can't safely go has made them an incredibly valuable tool. In our last event before CEP's summer break, we explore the fascinating world of drones, and how they are helping researchers and companies identify and reduce environmental impacts.

Dr Ken Whitehead:

Research Associate, Centre for Innovation and Research into Unmanned Systems

Dr. Ken Whitehead is currently the Research Associate with the Centre for Innovation and Research into Unmanned Systems (CIRUS) at SAIT, where he is responsible for coordinating joint UAV research initiatives with industry.
