About CEP Calgary
CEP Calgary is a chapter of The Connecting Environmental Professionals (CEP Canada). CEP Canada is a national organization of local chapters dedicated to creating opportunities for emerging and established environmental and sustainability professionals.
Each CEP chapter is a not-for-profit, independent, volunteer organization with diverse membership. CEP provides a positive forum for young professionals to meet like-minded people who also have a commitment to the environment, their careers, and their communities.
Our mission is to facilitate constructive dialogue and inspire action on key environmental and sustainability issues. We host a monthly speaker series and are part of the organizing committee for Globe’s Forum for Emerging Leaders.
To create a cohesive, vibrant, and diverse community of empowered environmental and sustainability champions to affect change
Education - CEP contributes to the education and increased capacity of its members by providing learning and development opportunities such as networking with other environmental professionals, monthly meetings, speaker sessions, workshops, and discussion forums.
Engagement - CEP facilitates engagement by establishing a forum for young and emerging environmental professionals to build relationships and find opportunities for leadership in their communities.
Employment - CEP supports employment by connecting members with employers, circulating job opportunities, matching members with mentors, providing career toolkits, and hosting workshops.
